May 2025 Meeting – English Paper Piecing
Pam Coltran will be teaching a class on English Paper Piecing.
We will be making enough hexies for one “flower”, so a total of seven.
Pam will demonstrate glue basting and thread basting hexies and sewing them together to make the flower.
Hexagon templates will be supplied for the hexies. Fabric glue will also be provided if desired.
Supplies
- Thread and sewing needle for hand sewing the hexies together
- Thimble if desired. I use a thimble, but it is not necessary.
- Paper scissors
- Fabric scissors
- Rotary cutter and ruler. A short ruler will work
- Cutting mat if using rotary cutter.
- Wonder clips (just a few are needed)
- Fabric – charm squares will work, or any fabric you have for 4 1/2″ squares. Bring at least 7.
